Varsity Winterfest 2018: Wrap Up – Survey for Businesses and Residents

YES? - Then we want to hear from you.

Varsity Winterfest is over for another year and WOW what an incredible success it was.

Over 8000 Varsity local residents and visitors came together as one to enjoy Varsity Active, Varsity Street Fest, Symphony by the Lake and the Fireworks spectacular over Lake Orr on August 4th.

Winterfest was originally founded and is organised each year by the Community not for Profit organisation

'Varsity Lakes Community Limited'

(VLCL) who combined with Sponsorship from the Varsity Lakes Community Bank, contribute in excess of $25,000 to each event for the sole purpose of promoting and connecting the community of Varsity Lakes.

In total since 2015, VLCL has invested in excess of $100,000 of its earnings into Varsity Winterfest to support and connect the community of Varsity Lakes.

This magnificent event is also proudly Supported by Division 11 Councillor Hermann Vorster for the City of Gold Coast, who not only matches this $25,000 investment each year through his Division 11 area works budget, but has helped provide a permanent home for the Festival having championed & funded the Lake Orr Stage.

Winterfest is organised for one reason - one purpose - COMMUNITY. So we want your feedback to hear about what you enjoyed most, and to learn how you feel we can make it even better next year.

We would appreciate you taking a short moment to let us know your thoughts on the event through this survey. For your trouble we will not only offer one lucky person a prize of $100, but we will ensure the community's own feedback will help us make Winterfest 2019 even better for the community of Varsity lakes - and the City of Gold Coast.

Winterfest & VLCL

VLCL's vision is to provide leadership and ensure ongoing community prosperity for Varsity Lakes and work to promote social, business, economic, education, environmental and physical wellbeing programs and initiatives to the community.

Winterfest is a significant financial, logistical and organisational event for VLCL which is why it is important for us to seek your feedback, because its our aim to connect and promote Varsity Lakes.

With the financial support of the Varsity Lakes Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank and Cr Vorster and Division 11 City of Gold Coast, we have been able to ensure the event remains FREE for everyone, and succeeds in its aim to bring community together, as well as promote Varsity Lakes and its businesses.
