I'm very pleased to let you know that Round 4 of the Stronger Communities Program is now open.
This practical program provides between $2,500 and $20,000 to local community organisations for small capital projects, on a shared-funding basis.
Many local community groups have benefited from past funding rounds and I encourage you to think about how your organisation could be supported on a planned project or upgrade.
Here's a simple step-by-step guide to applying:
1. Read the eligibility criteria and ?guidelines ?online.
2. If your project is eligible, please contact my office for a nomination form - call on 5580 9111, or text 0417 810 139 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
3. Complete and return the nomination form to my office by Monday 3rd September. All nominations will be considered by a local Community Panel.
4. Successful applications will then receive an email inviting them to apply online. (This is not a guarantee of success - the Department will have final determination on all applications). Online applications need to be completed by Thursday 11th October.
It's important to note that I can only recommend projects within my own federal electorate of McPherson. If you are part of a community organisation based in a different electorate, you should contact that Member of Parliament to make an application.
If you'd like some guidance or advice, please call my office on 5580 9111.
I'm very excited to be able to deliver this funding that will make a real difference in our community. I look forward to working with you if you've got a worthy community project in mind.
Thanks again for the valuable work your organisation does.
